About Das Wandern
Das Wandern is a work in motion — an ongoing collection of essays, reflections, and notes that follow the currents of thought across two domains: investment and life.
On one hand, it offers investment ideas worth exploring, grounded in markets yet open to imagination. On the other, it gathers meditations on philosophy, literature, music, art, and the art of living.
It is not a diary, nor a catalogue of passing opinions, but a record of considered thought: an attempt to trace the shape of ideas as they move through time, and to notice the correspondences between the inner life and the world beyond it.
The name — German for “wandering” — recalls both the Romantic tradition and the literal act of moving through landscapes. Here, the journey is a mental one: a slow passage through ideas, guided by curiosity and the search for sparks of inspiration. Like the meandering streams of Schubert’s song, these writings flow where they will.
